2. Los Muertos Pier
Los Muertos Pier is one of Puerto Vallarta’s most iconic landmarks, located at the heart of the Romantic Zone on the popular Playa Los Muertos. Rebuilt and inaugurated in 2013, the pier features a striking sail-shaped structure that lights up beautifully at night, creating one of the most recognizable silhouettes on the city’s coastline.

During the day, the pier is a lively hub for beachgoers and a main departure point for water taxis heading to the southern beaches, including Las Animas, Yelapa, and Quimixto.
