The Posada del Hidalgo is centrally located for exploring the magical and colonial town of El Fuerte. This beautiful hotel is a former colonial mansion built by Señor Rafael Almada in 1890. Most of the original pine beams and furniture were brought by boat from San Francisco, California. The hotel features a swimming pool, a hydro-therapy pool, restaurant, high ceilings with wood beams and two story balconies. All the rooms are air-conditioned and all have private tiled baths. Legend has it that “El Zorro” Diego de la Vega lived as a child in the old part of what is now the Hotel Posada del Hidalgo. In his memory, every night a performance is held on the hotel’s terrace, where the story of this famous character is recalled through narration and traditional music.

Huicochi (meaning "place of many trees" in Tarahumara) Waterfall is a beautiful natural attraction accessible from the Hotel Misión Cerocahui. The hotel offers either a guided walking tour from the hotel or from the town of Cerocahui, or by horseback.
Hotel Misión is located next to the historic Jesuit Mission church (Santa María de Guadalupe) and a boarding school for local Tarahumara girls. This area is easily explored on foot. You can take a casual stroll through the quiet, unpaved streets of the village, visit the main plaza, and see the church.

The Mirador Hotel is located at the canyon’s edge, near the highest point of the canyon.
